Creamy Pumpkin Pasta


1 lb whole-wheat penne or similar pasta
3 tbs olive oil
1 can pumpkin
2 cups of chicken broth
1/2 cup of finely chopped onions
4 garlic cloves minced
pepper
grated parmesan
½ cup of coconut milk
3 pinches ground cinnamon
1 pinch of ground nutmeg
2 pinches chili flakes
3 pinches of ground sage
salt to taste

Cook pasta according to package direction. Saute garlic and onions. Stir in coconut milk, pumpkin and spices. Reduce heat and simmer for five to seven minutes. Stir in and cheese.
