Sam's Art Work "Sylvester"

Sam paused the TV so he could catch this awesome scene.

What do you think Sylvester is attempting to accomplish?

Hammer poor Tweety Bird to death and then probably eat him!
Is this a kids' cartoon?

Sammy's Pinecone Family

Here is a great video! We were down by the river on our last camping trip and Sam and I found a baby pine cone. At first I thought it was some kind of caterpillar swimming around in the water. Of course, Sam thought it was alive too. My cousin, Jaime told me that it was just a baby pine cone. I was kind of surprised. Hehehe...

Sammy thought that it needed a family so he took off running to find it one. He came back with a mom and dad pine cone. Then he went off again to find the baby a few playmates. I love it that Sammy is so imaginative.

Come Again??

Sometimes I question just what Samuel is thinking. The other day Sam was hugging his teddy bear. Let’s just call him “Teddy”. Teddy appeared to be enjoying the affections of Sammy. I am sure Sam felt like wise. I was just taking a moment of leisure as I watched them together. In just a blink of an eye, Sam attacked Teddy. He bit him right on the nose. I scolded Sam and made clear to him that we do not hurt our friends. I then placed a small Scooby Doo Band aid on Teddy’s nose. I warned Sammy that I better not here from Teddy that he had wounded the poor bear again. A few minutes later this is what I found…Come again?? I beg your pardon?? Am I seeing what I think I am seeing?

My theory is that Sam thought he would shut Teddy up while he colored on him a bit, or Maybe just maybe he was being loving and just bandaging another wound that somehow miraculously appeared. Sam might have been just fixing his hair and giving him free highlights. Who’s to know?

His Obsession

His Obsession

My son, Sammy is so fixated over the Backyardagains that I do believe he has become obsessed. I don’t get it? The TV show is not so extraordinary yet he believes it is. Yesterday I was getting him geared up for daycare and then he didn’t even want to go. I reminded him that it had been quite a few days since he last seen his friends and they missed him so. He squealed “No! I miss me and the Backyardagains“. I got the point clear as the bright blue sky, but he still had to go. Then today Samuel was shocked to realize that we had passed our street and didn’t even go home. He spoke loudly with some distress “Mom! I am so tired” This was him telling me that he was having withdrawals from his favorite show. I mean to be exact the kid watches the same three DVD’s without wavering. I do recognize that it will come to an end just like “Winnie the Pooh” did last month, but until then I will just work on my new infatuation “Blogging”.

RIP Little Fishy

Sammy watches me more closely than I think. Today I found our home a little too quiet and realized Sammy had come up missing. I looked all through the house until there was only one room left to check. As I entered the bathroom I noticed a big smile on his face. He was holding an empty fish bowl and I calmly asked him where the fish and rocks had gone. He admitted to flushing them down the toilet.

He had mentioned on a few occasions that we should flush the fish. I explained to him that we do not flush live fish and that the fish we did flush had expired. That would usually end the subject, until today.

He appeared proud of his accomplishment, even though he had to pay for the crime. He didn't mind timeout too much. Sammy boasted to his Nana Sharon on the phone today...he told her "I flushed the fish and the rocks". Nana told him that she felt sorry for the little fishy. I don't know if he understood that he had just killed his fish.

Sammy is Sick

Sammy threw up about an half and hour ago. UGH. Poor Guy. He made quite a mess in my bed. I put everything into the washer and I poured a whole bunch of vinegar on the wall and carpet. I will have to use our little spot cleaner machine tomorrow. I hope he feels better now and that he doesn't have to get sick anymore. I made him a bed on the living room floor. We both had to jump in the bath and clean the stinky off. Thank God we now have a washer and dryer.

I hope Sammy feels better by tomorrow. I gotta work. We will have to see.

Oh, this nice neighbor built Josh and Ronnie a metal skateboarding grinder. They are very excited. The neighbor is a welder fabricator. He had some extra metal laying around. He said that he has been working sixteen hours day lately. Something to do with horseshoes. Wow, there is another blessing for our family.

I am heading to bed. I am out...
